On 29 January 2026, the Centre for IT and IP Law (CiTiP) in cooperation with the Robotics AI & Law Society (RAILS) host a discussion on the Digital Omnibus, the Commission’s proposal to simplify and harmonise requirements across the GDPR, AI Act, ePrivacy, NIS2, and Data Act.

Charlotte Ducuing is a post doctoral researcher at the Centre for IT and IP Law at KU Leuven (CiTiP). Her research project focuses on the prospect of infrastructure law for regulating the digital environment.
Julie Mannekens is a researcher at the KU Leuven Centre for IT and IP Law (CiTiP), specialising in privacy and data protection.
Kai Zenner is Head of Office and Digital Policy Adviser to MEP Axel Voss in the European Parliament, focusing on AI and data policy and the EU’s digital transition, while also serving as a Fellow of Practice at TUM and a member of the OECD.AI Network of Experts and the World Economic Forum’s AI Governance Alliance.
