The Webinar will discuss different aspects of Smart Cities from an interdisciplinary point of view, focusing on governance, policy and legal regulation.
Prof. Dr. Sofia Ranchordas is a Full Professor of Public Law and a Rosalind Franklin Fellow at the Faculty of Law of the University of Groningen and a Professor of Law, Innovation, and Sustainability at LUISS Guido Carli in Rome (part-time position). She is also an Affiliated Fellow of the Information Society Project at Yale Law School.
Prof. Dr. Christoph Bieber is Professor of Political Science at the NRW School of Governance, University of Duisburg-Essen, Germany. Since 2018 he has been delegated to the Center for Advanced Internet Studies (CAIS) in Bochum, where as a research professor he directs the program „Digital Democratic Innovations“ that runs from 2021 until 2026.
